Dear CAA member or ex-member,
According to recent constitutional changes, CAA International will move to a members-based organisation model starting on 1 January 2015. This may have some implications for you. Please read carefully throughout, and contact us if you have questions.
The major change is that, from now on, being a member of CAA and attending a CAA conference will be two separate and different things, much more than before. You will be able to manage your membership details and renew your membership (or become a member if you are not one) online through the new http://members.caa-international.org portal. Separately, each year’s conference will allow you to register for that conference online through the http://ocs.caaconference.org site, but you will need to be a member in order to do so. To make things easier, you will be able to enrol as a member and register for a conference in a single step through the conference web site. You will see all this working for the Siena conference in early 2015.
These are some tips and facts that you should take into account as well:
- The membership portal at http://members.caa-international.org is already up and running. You can create your account there and update your profile as necessary.
- Please use the same email address when you register for a conference as you have used for your membership account. Otherwise the system won’t be able to match your details.
- If you have enrolled as a CAA member as part of conference registration, your membership portal user name will be your email address.
We hope that these changes will allow CAA to keep developing its annual conference and, at the same time, grow beyond it to new areas of activity.
