A new Journal called “Digital Applications to Archaeology and Cultural Heritage” (DAACH) has been announced by Prof. Bernie Frischer (15.1.2013). What makes DAACH different is its focus on 3D modeling of cultural heritage, including the ability to publish interactive 3D models along with the article. The first issue will appear later in 2013. You can find out more at: http://www.journals.elsevier.com/digital-applications-in-archaeology-and-cultural-heritage/ DAACH is peer-reviewed and online (there is no print version) and covers palaeoanthropology and all fields of archaeology, art history, and architectural history. Not every article must include an interactive 3D model; some articles may instead focus on theoretical issues or best practices of 3D modeling.
