- “Curating digital archaeological data: ensuring access, use and openness“, Agiatis Benardou, Digital Curation Unit, ATHENA R.C. and AUEB, Greece.
- “The ARIADNEplus infrastructure for open dada and the SEADDA COST Action for stewardship and best practice“, Holly Wright, Archaeology Data Service, University of York, UK.
- “Connecting Archaeology Datasets in Europe: Background, challenges and possibilities”, Kate Fernie, 2Culture Associates, UK and CARARE, Ireland.
We take the opportunity to remind that the Greek Chapter of the CAA organised CAA-GR2021 SESSIONS in collaboration with
- the ARIADNEplus consortium
- the SEADDA network
- the CARARE association
Furthermore, this event focused on Open Archaeological content curation and stewardship. The topic emerged as one of the outcomes of last year’s CAA-GR October sessions on the “Current Status and the Future of Digital Archaeology in the Eastern Mediterranean”. There, the overall management of digital archaeological content emerged naturally during the discussions.
We express our thanks and appreciation to our keynote speakers, all the participants at the event, and particularly Kate Fernie for the dissemination through the CARARE channel.
